Our Inspiration

IBT Hair & Skin Care LTD was inspired by April Castellano’s mother, who pursued a simple soap, candle, and cream course as a hobby. April struggled to find quality products to care for her hair, so combining her mother’s formulation skills with her own ideas, they created the herbal Hair Mayo, which became popular among her university friends. After graduating from the University of Southern Caribbean, April decided to turn her passion into a business. In 2019, Inspiration's Beauty Treats officially became a business.

IBT Hair & Skin Care LTD operates through three main branches: Inspiration's Beauty Treats, IBT Course Hub, and Mowasi (coming soon: hair wraps and accessories).

Inspiration's Beauty Treats

We manufacture natural hair and skincare products using locally sourced ingredients. We prioritize eco-sustainability, support local farmers and suppliers, and provide educational programs, private groups, and affiliate marketing opportunities. Our products are now primarily available online and continue to reach clients across Trinidad and Tobago, as well as international customers.

IBT Course Hub

We empower entrepreneurs to streamline business processes, automate workflows, and leverage AI and digital tools for growth. Practical courses help entrepreneurs structure sales systems and use platforms like WhatsApp efficiently. Upcoming courses include copywriting and scriptwriting, AI for business, digital asset creation, “earn while you sleep” strategies, and Spanish language training for students and professionals.

Founder

Founder April Castellano brings extensive experience in entrepreneurship, digital innovation, and education. She has participated in and been certified by programs such as the High-Level Event on Women and Trade (co-organized by the WTO and ITC SheTrades), National Entrepreneurship Development Company Ltd (NEDCO) Alumna, Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) Alumna, CARIRI DIA Lab Pitch Finalist, Youth Business Trinidad and Tobago (YBTT), Youth Business International (YBI), and various AI and digital marketing workshops. April also teaches Spanish and applies her expertise to help entrepreneurs achieve scalable business growth.
